เมื่อวันที่ 28 กันยายน 2566 กระทรวงสาธารณสุขของแคนาดา (Health Canada) ได้ประกาศ NOM/ADM-0208 ซึ่งมีผลบังคับใช้ทันที โดยได้แก้ไขรายชื่อเอนไซม์อาหารที่ได้รับอนุญาตเพื่อให้สามารถใช้งาน Pectinese 2 ชนิด ได้แก่ Pectinesterase จาก Aspergillus oryzae AR-962 และ Polygalacturonase จาก Aspergillus oryzae AR-183 ใน (1) ผลิตภัณฑ์น้ำผลไม้ 100% (Single-strength fruit juices) (2) ผลิตภัณฑ์จากผักและผลไม้ต่าง ๆ นอกจากรายการที่กำหนดให้มีการควบคุมตามกฎหมาย (Unstandardized fruit and vegetable products) และ (3) ไวน์ โดยกำหนดเงื่อนไขว่าการผลิตจะต้องเป็นไปตามหลักการปฏิบัติที่ดีสำหรับกระบวนการผลิต (GMP)
